Tickets and VIP passes for PDX Weed Week will be available for sale starting at noon today, Friday, October 21 at www.goweedweek.com/#register, and by phone at 808-250-3929. PDX Weed Week is a series of cannabis events and activities taking place in Portland, Oregon, Nov. 30 to Dec. 4.
Tickets are available for purchase October 21, and range from $99 to $199 per person; and ticket holders will have access to each cannabis event and activity.
The Cannabis Crawl is the first event of PDX Weed Week, and is open to ticket holders interested in touring some of Portland best retail dispensaries. The Cannabis Crawl is on Wednesday, Nov. 30, beginning at 3p.m., and it works like this: attendees will meet up and break into groups. Each group will embark on a unique trek visiting 4-5 retail dispensaries, where Cannabis Crawl participants will get special pricing and other incentives. At the end of the trek, groups will come back together at the official Weed Week launch party to socialize and share their experiences.
The PDX Weed Week lecture series begins Thursday, Dec. 1 and continues through Friday, Dec. 2. Attendees can choose from more than 30 informative sessions covering topics in health & wellness, breeding & growing, business & technology, and many more. PitchFest is another signature event of PDX Weed Week. It works like this: people with a cannabis business idea will have an opportunity to pitch their idea to the ladies of The Marijuana Show, the show dubbed the Shark Tank of the cannabis industry. However, people interested in pitching their ideas must first attend “7 Steps to a Successful Pitch,” Friday, December 2.
Another signature event of PDX Weed Week is the Cannabis Classic, the cannabis industry’s premier competition and awards show. The Cannabis Classic takes place on Sunday, Dec. 4, and will include an exhibitors fair with more than 40 vendors, a networking mixer, followed by the awards show. This year’s competition features nine awards – Highest CBD, Highest THC, Top Newcomer, Best Edible, Best Concentrate, Best Hybrid, Best Indica, Best Sativa, Best in Show – and cash prizes.
